What is Project Bonsai?

Project Bonsai uses deep AI learning algorithms tackle real-world problems. It’s designed simply enough so that traditional engineers can use it and it is especially suited for enterprises leveraging industrial control systems.

Bonsai consists of a chain of tools that are used to build brains, or models that use deep reinforcement learning, simulations, and machine teaching techniques. Through these techniques a Bonsai Brain can proactively offer operators best options, increasing operator effectiveness, reducing quality issues, and avoiding downtime. The process experts from your organization specify desired outcomes and criteria, then supervise the brain as it works to solve problems in simulated virtual environments. The process experts provide feedback and guidance that trains the brain to dynamically adapt within the simulation. Once the brain is sufficiently trained in the simulation, that knowledge is continually reinforced using deep machine learning.
