Alex pioneered DEI initiatives at AWS, significantly increasing tech role transitions for minority employees and launching programs democratizing access to advanced technologies. At Novartis, Alex developed predictive analytics and augmented reality platforms, revolutionizing manufacturing and training processes. Alex’s leadership in IT strategy and infrastructure has led to major transformational projects, resulting in millions in savings and improved data governance. Alex lives in Seattle with his wife and two dogs and loves traveling the world, with a passport that’s seen stamps from Slovenia, India, Japan, and many more.

Dr. Michael Green is an AI researcher, engineer, and product leader with a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering. With over 30 peer-reviewed publications, Michael specializes in translating cutting-edge AI research into real-world solutions, particularly in procedural content generation using AI algorithms.
Currently, Michael manages the product portfolio backlog for the Azure-based Hitachi Solutions Empower Data Platform, leading go-to-market activities and a team of over 50 engineers. He drives strategic vision and execution for multi-million-dollar data orchestration products built on Azure and Databricks, and is recognized for his ability to create impactful demos, deliver compelling product pitches, and achieve significant program growth. He was part of the first class of Databricks MVPs and brings an educated and experienced perspective as it relates to the future of technology and the success of our customers.
Michael’s first love was the Buffalo Bills, but his true love is his bride-to-be. When he’s not knee deep in data science, he’s neck deep in wedding planning.
