Emma Charles

Emma Charles is Principal Director, Government Industry & Strategy at Hitachi Solutions. She is a digital transformation specialist with several decades of experience designing and leading large-scale digital change programmes, both within and outside the Civil Service. Having started her career working with globally recognised sports organisations, Emma has spent the last 20 years helping central government departments improve digital maturity, increase the effectiveness of transformation programmes, and deliver better outcomes for citizens.
