We’re thrilled to share that Hitachi Solutions has been named a winner in the 2025 Microsoft Copilot Studio Enterprise Agent Challenge for our innovative “Sentiment Insights Agent.” This global hackathon brought together top enterprise teams to build intelligent AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio—and our solution stood out among submissions from giants like Shell, PwC, and NASA.
So, what is the Sentiment Insights Agent?
It’s a smart, low-code AI solution that simplifies how businesses collect and act on customer feedback. Built by Bhagyashree Deshpande and supported by mentors including Joel Lindstrom and Vivek Bavishi, the agent uses a QR code-enabled Microsoft Form to gather feedback, then applies real-time sentiment analysis to deliver actionable insights. Managers can ask for “today’s sentiment” or “weekly insights” and instantly receive reports with trends, keyword highlights, and emotion detection. If a review is negative, the agent auto-generates a follow-up task and emails a summary to the manager—ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
The Sentiment Insights Agent is a perfect example of what happens when innovation meets purpose. Bhagyashree and the team didn’t just build a technically impressive solution—they created something that solves a real business challenge in a smart, scalable way. Winning the Microsoft Enterprise Agent Challenge is a proud moment for all of us at Hitachi Solutions, and it reinforces our commitment to delivering impactful solutions through the Power Platform and Copilot Studio.
