As a professional services organization, people “are” our company — so pausing to recognize and celebrate is something our team members take pride in. From driving awareness for men’s health in our Move for Movember campaign last fall to our Spring into Good Health rally, to now commemorating International Women’s Day, our team participates and supports people in so many ways.

This week is the week to celebrate the many social, economic, cultural, and political contributions and accomplishments of history-making women around the world. As a global organization, we strive to amplify women’s achievements at work, ensure women continue to thrive in the workplace, and take action against gender inequality.

Our team has been generating visibility and excitement for International Women’s day this year by counting down with a unique T-Minus 7 program. This fun and informative initiative encourages all employees to share motivating content every day for the seven days leading up to March 8th. This is our way of recognizing the event and its relevance to our company —and the stories shared so far have been truly inspirational.

At Hitachi Solutions, we strongly believe the work environment should be diverse, equitable, and inclusive, and are committed to removing bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. One of the ways we address this is through our employee-led Konsei community resource groups. Our Konsei Women group focuses on providing mentorship and leadership programming and support for female professionals in the company, and Konsei Pride aims to raise visibility for LGBTQ+ issues and helps us build a more diverse and inclusive workforce.

In addition, we are also passionate about empowering all our employees! In fact, we have just launched dedicated programs directed specifically at early- and mid-career professionals. Whether they are just starting on a career path, or are re-entering the workforce after a pause, these programs provide targeted training, support, and opportunities designed to get them working with our customers quickly and confidently.
