IRVINE, Calif. — February 8, 2018 — Hitachi Solutions America, a leading provider of global industry solutions based on the Microsoft Cloud, today announced a strategic implementation partnership and new joint offering with Apttus, the category-defining Quote-to-Cash (QTC) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution provider. The new offering, the Intelligent Financial Services Cloud for Asset Management, is powered by Apttus and built by Hitachi Solutions America.
The solution was built to improve how asset and investment management firms improve the management of legal agreements and contracts. These capabilities will assist in the automation of onboarding and account setup activities, agreement approval processes, renewal processes and verification. The solution also helps contract coordinators and client administration teams with predefined process and approval templates, preset business rules supporting regulatory alignment, and automation support for mass amendment repapering, retention and document curation.
Leveraging intelligence models built on Microsoft Azure AI, algorithms supporting repapering and other processes further enable automated routines and decision-ing resulting in reduced hours of time and expense. Repapering, transparency and contract digitization is top of mind for the C-Suite in global banks, due to uncertainty and existing regulatory challenges, such as MiFID II, Brexit, and QFC and Dodd Frank loom.
“Our financial services clients continue to look for innovative ways to improve performance and serve clients more effectively. Partnering with Apttus to implement our new joint solution brings huge value to our Dynamics 365 deployments,” said Landy Wingard, Vice President, Banking and Capital Markets, at Hitachi Solutions America. “Hitachi Solutions America is dedicated to customer success and we continually strive to provide our clients the best possible ROI by offering a full span of CLM solutions, underpinned with intelligence and machine learning of Azure and the Microsoft Cloud. Therefore, Apttus was a natural choice.”
The Intelligent Financial Services Cloud for Asset Management will deliver the following benefits to financial services firms:
- Expediting the contract drafting, redlining and approval workflow processes by leveraging machine learning capabilities – the technology “learns” and continually refines the process
- Real time monitoring of agreements, approval queue’s, and CLM backlog
- Proposal and deal structuring for more efficient and profitable deals leveraging relationship and behavioral data while reducing contracting time through an automated and more seamless experience
- Automating repapering and mass amendments when regulations change
- Reducing operational costs with disclosure libraries and consistent branded templates
- Leveraging electronic signatures and “Max,” Apttus’ artificial intelligence agent, to enable search, review, and escalate issues through natural voice recognition or text
- Leveraging business rule orchestration for DOT/QFC, FACTA and KYC/AML questionnaires and workflow
- Enabling MiFID II research unbundling and Dodd Frank, DOL fiduciary requirements compliance, and AS606 revenue recognition compliance
